Throughout life we adapt our behaviours so that we may cope, better handle and survive other people, situations and events.  We learn to be cautious and develop ways to protect ourselves from attack and criticism.  We hide our sensitive parts and adapt our behaviour to keep safe.

Over time, we may become less sensitive to our own needs and find ourselves in situations that are negative.  We may lose sense of our identity and the things that really matter to us and make life fulfilling.  My aim is to help you rediscover your true self.

Therapeutic counselling goes at your pace and the number of sessions will vary according to your needs. I offer you a safe, confidential, calm and non-judgemental environment to explore the difficulties you are facing in your life.  I will help you to recognise, acknowledge and deal with painful and supressed emotions which are affecting your quality of life.  I use a variety of tools and techniques to support you achieving this.

Finding a Counsellor



It is important you find a therapeutic counsellor you feel comfortable with, I therefore offer a free, no obligation, 30-minute consultation during which you meet me and ask any questions you may have to help you make the right choice for you.




Sessions are an hour long and cost £40. I believe that counselling should be accessible to all so means tested concessions are negotiable.
